IPOH: The draft of Budget 2013 will be tabled at the Cabinet meeting on Wednesday, said Second Finance Minister Datuk Seri Ahmad Husni Hanadzlah.
He said the budget, which would incorporate proposals and input from various quarters including focus groups, government agencies and industry sectors, was designed to spur the country’s economic growth and help the people.
It would also consider macroeconomic, sectoral and social issues raised by the business community and non-governmental organisations, he said at the 55th Merdeka Day celebrations yesterday.
“We will refine it further after the approval ... we must get the approval of the Cabinet. We are looking at ways to reduce the country’s debt,” he said.
