KUALA LUMPUR: The Government should grant domestic banking licence to existing large Indian co-operatives to further lift the socio-economic status of the Indian community, a chamber says.
The Kuala Lumpur & Selangor Indian Chamber of Commerce & Industry (KLSICCI) president Madhu Sudan Nair said although the Government had and would do its best for the Indians, the community could not always depend on it for funds.
