Late selling of BAT drags KLCI into the red

KUALA LUMPUR: Late selling of BAT and profit taking on Tenaga and Petronas Chemicals pushed the FBM KLCI into the red on Tuesday as the broader market displayed some caution.

At 5pm, the KLCI was down 8.31 points to 1,631.12. Turnover was 1.41bil valued at RM2.03bil. There were 317 gainers, 444 losers and 327 counters unchanged.
