MEDIA specialist firm Universal McCann (UM), which bagged its third consecutive “Agency of the Year” accolade at the recent Malaysian Media Awards (MMA), can probably attribute the multiple successes it has had to its unorthodox business strategies.

For starters, the agency has been quite pro-active in hiring talents from various industries, says IPG Mediabrands Malaysia chief executive officer Prashant Kumar.
