KUALA LUMPUR: Consumers worldwide will spend US$2.1 trillion on digital information, entertainment products and services this year, says Gartner Inc, the world's leading information technology research and advisory company.
That amounted to a US$114bil increase compared with last year, and spending would continue to grow at a faster rate than in the past of around US$130bil a year, to reach U$2.7 trillion by end-2016, it said.
