UMLand wont seek alternate buyer


KUALA LUMPUR: United Malayan Land Bhd’s (UMLand) board, save for the interested directors, has deliberated on the notice of unconditional takeover offer by Seleksi Juang Sdn Bhd and decided not to seek an alternative person to make a take-over offer, the company told Bursa Malaysia.

Seleksi Juang has proposed on July 12 to acquire the offer shares for RM2.50 apiece in cash. Certain directors of UMLand, namely Datuk Ng Eng Tee, Syed Azmin Mohd Nursin @ Syed Nor and Ng Eng Soon are deemed interested in the offer.
