KUALA LUMPUR: The former chief secretary to the Government, Tan Sri Mohd Sidek Hassan, has been appointed chairman of Petroliam Nasional Bhd (Petronas) effective July 1.
The national oil company’s board of directors had approved the appointment on June 27, it said in a statement issued via Bernama yesterday.
