KUALA LUMPUR: The former Chief Secretary to the Government Tan Sri Mohd Sidek Hassan has been appointed the chairman of Petroliam Nasional Bhd (Petronas) with effect on July 1.
A statement issued via Bernama on Monday said the board of the national oil company had on June 27 approved his appointment as chairman.
