Maxis set to launch IPTV service next month

KUALA LUMPUR: Maxis Bhd is set to launch its Internet Protocol Television (IPTV) offering next month.

While the company says its offering will be competitive, market observers are hoping that Maxis' rates will be lower than its competitors so that the industry will be forced to drop rates for both IPTV services and fixed broadband.
