Kenanga to carve niche in retail


KUALA LUMPUR: With ECM Libra Financial Group Bhd's investment bank now in its fold, K&N Kenanga Holdings Bhd is gearing up to carve a niche in what it sees as a lucrative sector retail investors.

“The acquisition will solidify our position in the retail segment. If you look at it, the estimated gross industry yield is 30 to 40 basis points for retail, 15 to 25 for institutional, and two to five for foreign institutional,” group managing director Chay Wai Leong told StarBizWeek in an interview.
