KUALA LUMPUR: Blue chips slipped in early trade on Friday on mild profit taking after three straight days of gains, with KLK and PetChem among the decliners.
At 9.07am, the FBM KLCI had slipped 0.98 of a point to 1,574.33. Turnover was 18.30 million shares valued at RM9.35mil. There were 55 gainers, 44 losers and 90 stocks unchanged.
