Saiful Bahari Baharom is Labuan IBFC's new CEO


KUALA LUMPUR: Labuan IBFC Inc. (Labuan IBFC Inc.) said Saiful Bahari Baharom has been appointed as its chief executive officer.

Labuan IBFC Inc. is a unit of Labuan Financial Services Authority and it is involved in promoting the jurisdiction as a premier international business and financial centre. It said on Thursday that Saiful, who has a degree in Economics and Finance, had his last posting at the Finance Ministry where he was a special functions officer to the Minister of Finance II for the last three years. Prior to that, he was a special officer to the Minister in the Prime Minister's Department (Economic Planning Unit) and as Director, Strategy and Development Department, Labuan Financial Services Authority.
