KUALA LUMPUR: Investors exited commodities and equities on Monday, due to disappointing U.S. jobs growth figures on Friday and weak Chinese manufacturing data, with the regional markets posting losses of up to nearly 3%.
At the close, the FBM KLCI was down 18.41 points or 1.17% to 1,555.18. Turnover was 677.62 million shares valued at RM1.14bil. There were 114 gainers, 674 losers and 194 counters unchanged.
