KUALA LUMPUR: Key regional markets closed firmer on Monday as worries about the Greece exit from the euro zone abated, giving the local stock market a boost also but trading volume remained thin.
At the close, the FBM KLCI was up 3.82 points or 0.54% to 1,554.94. Turnover was 735.85 million shares valued at RM897.64mil. The broader market improved with advancing counters beating decliners 412 to 276 while 322 stocks were unchanged.
