KUALA LUMPUR: Petronas Chemicals Group Bhd (PetChem) will spend about RM2bil on plant building and maintenance for its financial year ending Dec 31 (FY12), said its chairman Datuk Wan Zulkiflee Wan Ariffin.
“Our maintenance capex (capital expenditure), will be incurred in any case is about RM600mil-RM800mil. In addition to that is for the Sabah Ammonia Urea (Samur), a US$1.5bil (RM4.7bil) project which will take over three years (to complete),” he said after the company AGM yesterday.
