PETALING JAYA: Masterskill Education Group Bhd's announcement that it is delaying plans to build its flagship campus is in line with speculation that the company may consider returning some of the proceeds from its 2010 listing to shareholders.
On Friday, it told the stock exchange that following the reduction in the National Higher Education Fund Corporation's (PTPTN) loan schedule and the increase in the minimum entry requirements by the Malaysian Nursing Board, it has decided to defer the construction of its proposed main campus for the time being and will reallocate RM76.97mil to be used as working capital.
