KUALA LUMPUR: Asian markets were mostly higher at midday, Thursday, although overall investor sentiment still remained cautious as concerns over the persisting European debt crisis had not abated.
At 12.30pm, the FBM KLCI was up 15.41 points to 1,551.45, buoyed by the buying of selected blue chips including Tenaga. Turnover was 549.81 million shares valued at RM737.76mil. There were 433 gainers, 190 losers and 282 stocks unchanged.
