PETALING JAYA: History will be made in the next few days when Proton Holdings Bhd officially becomes a member of the country's largest automotive conglomerate DRB-Hicom Bhd
, with the approval of the latter's shareholders for the acquisition.
Proton will become a 50.01% subsidiary of DRB-Hicom by Wednesday when the stake sale by Khazanah Nasional in Proton is completed.
