KUALA LUMPUR: The International Air Transport Association (IATA) has urged Malaysia Airports Holdings Bhd (MAHB) to consider withdrawing landing and parking charge increases planned for 2013 and 2014 to reduce the cost burden on airlines operating here.
Director-general and CEO Tony Tyler said that given the anticipated traffic growth projection for this year, as well as increases in charges last year, MAHB was “still expected to be profitable.”
