YANGON: With Myanmar now widely regarded as a hot investment destination after the government announced economic and political reforms, thus attracting more and more visits from the West and Asia's leading economies, Asean businessmen have gently reminded Myanmar to leave the door open for collaboration with businesses from other countries in the grouping.
However, Myanmar's pro-democracy icon Aung San Suu Kyi advised business leaders from Asean to wait for firm legal and political reforms to take place before they invest in the country.
