SINGAPORE: Malaysian state oil firm Petronas sold a cargo each of Labuan and Miri crude for March loading at record premiums as tighter supply of Sudanese oil and robust demand boosted the prices of sweet grades in Asia.
Petronas sold 600,000 barrels of Labuan to a European trader at a premium of above $9 a barrel to dated Brent and 500,000 barrels of Miri to an unknown buyer at $8.50 a barrel above dated Brent, traders said on Thursday.
