Mercedes-Benz Malaysia eyes 10%-15% contribution from CBU models

SUBANG: Mercedes-Benz Malaysia, which sold 7,467 passenger cars and commercial vehicles in 2011, expects its completely built-up (CBU) models to contribute 10 to 15 per cent of total car sales this year with the introduction of three new models.

Its vice president for sales and marketing Kai Schlickum said the new model introduction is in line with the increased interest in luxury cars as well as positive consumer sentiment that drove demand within the segment.
