Supervisory environment upgrade key to orderly expansion

PETALING JAYA: Bank Negara has made some recommendations to promote a regulatory and supervisory environment that ensures the orderly expansion of Malaysian financial institutions overseas and the entry of new foreign financial institutions in the domestic financial sector.

One of the recommendations to safeguard the stability of the financial sector is to collaborate with other central banks and supervisory authorities.
