AHMAD Jauhari Yahya, the new boss at Malaysia Airlines (MAS) and his deputy Mohamed Rashdan are staring at a lot of red ink in the airlines’ profit and loss statement this year. But even with the abyss of a hole in the accounts, both are trying their darnest to have MAS pip the consensus loss forecast for financial year 2011.
