Former Inix CEO fined RM1.1mil


KUALA LUMPUR: Former Inix Technologies Holdings Bhd chief executive officer Jimmy Tok Soon Guan was charged with five counts of authorising the furnishing of a false statement to Bursa Malaysia Securities Bhd and providing false information to Bursa Malaysia. He was fined RM1.1mil by a sessions court here.

Tok, 40, was fined RM200,000 in default of 18 months’ jail each for two charges of authorising the furnishing of a false statement in Inix’s condensed consolidated income statement for the first quarter ended Oct 31, 2005 and ended Jan 31, 2006 to Bursa.
