Multicode ex-directors found guilty


PETALING JAYA: The Kuala Lumpur Sessions Court has found two former directors of Multicode Electronics Industries (M) Bhd guilty of committing criminal breach of trust (CBT) under Section 409 of the Penal Code involving about RM26mil of funds belonging to the company.

The Securities Commission said in a statement that Gordon Toh Chun Toh was sentenced to 12 years imprisonment while Datuk Abul Hassan Mohamed Rashid received a jail sentence of six years.
