PETALING JAYA: The benchmark stock index, FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI), extended its losses, falling 17.81 points, or 1.24%, to 1,413.12 on concerns about the eurozone debt debacle.
Losers trumped gainers 496 to 218, while 233 counters remained unchanged yesterday. Among the notable top losers were Petronas Gas Bhd (PetGas), which shed 96 sen to RM13.72, and Sime Darby Bhd which lost 30 sen to RM7.70.
