KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysia Marine and Heavy Engineering Holdings Bhd
(MMHE) said its acquisition of a RM393.5mil fabrication yard from Sime Darby Engineering Sdn Bhd was based on the company’s future earnings potential.
In a reply to Bursa Malaysia queries yesterday, the company said it had conducted an internal assessment of the potential future cash flows and profits from the Pasir Gudang yard, taking into consideration various factors such as the benefits arising from the increase in expanded yard capacity.
