BANGKOK: Thailand's economy shrank in the second quarter as vehicle manufacturing slumped due to parts shortages in the aftermath of the tsunami disaster in Japan.
The government said Monday that Southeast Asia's second-largest economy contracted 0.2 percent in the April to June quarter from the previous quarter.
