PETALING JAYA: The RM1.33bil and RM569mil light-rail transit (LRT) extension jobs clinched by Malaysian Resources Corp Bhd (MRCB) and Sunway Holdings Bhd respectively will be a major boost to the companies' order books, said analysts.
OSK Research in its report said the contract would enable MRCB to replenish and boost its depleting construction order book to RM1.8bil from RM424mil, (excluding property construction at KL Sentral) previously. “This contract would be the first major construction contract that MRCB has won since 2008.”
