NEW YORK: Bank of America yesterday said it would sell its US$8.6bil credit card portfolio in Canada to TD Bank Group and would exit its credit card businesses in Britain and Ireland.
BoA, the biggest US bank by assets, said that the Canadian bank would also purchase “certain other assets and liabilities.”
