KUALA LUMPUR: Lotus Cars Ltd has appointed Ateco Automotive Pty Ltd, Australia, and New Zealand's largest independent car importer as its new official importer and distributor for Lotus cars in the region.
In a statement yesterday, Lotus said while its existing dealer network in Australia with outlets in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth and Adelaide would remain, Ateco planned to expand Lotus' presence in the region with a new dealership in Auckland, New Zealand's largest car market.
