KUALA LUMPUR: There is space for a small bank like Alliance Financial Group Bhd (AFG), and there are many more segments in Malaysia that is still under-penetrated, such as wealth management among consumers, and services for the small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs), said its group chief executive officer Sng Seow Wah.
AFG chairman Datuk Oh Chong Peng said that AFG was happy to be a domestic bank, and that there was no reason to go on a mergers and acquisitions exercise.
