SANTIAGO, Chile (AP) - The ash plume from a Chilean volcano disrupted so many flights in June that the second-quarter net profit of Chile's LAN Airlines SA fell 74 percent from a year earlier.
LAN says it had net earnings of $15.9 million in the April-June period. It says that reflects $18 million in losses from canceled and delayed flights last month.
