Former MD of Porsche, BMW to speak at Taylor's leadership event

PETALING JAYA: Kevin Gaskell, who was credited as turning around the Porsche business in the UK in the 1990s, will share his experiences at the upcoming Taylor’s Executive Leadership Series at Taylor’s University.

Gaskell, formerly Porsche and BMW managing director in Britain, will be one of the speakers at the two-day conference.

The event starts on July 19 at the university’s Lakeside Campus.

At Porsche, he addressed the issue of loss of confidence in the brand.

Themed Inspire those you lead, the Taylor’s Executive Leadership Series brings together world renowned CEOs to Taylor’s University to share their best practices and insights.

Other speakers include former British Telecom head of research Peter Cochrane, one of the world’s most sought-after speakers on technology, change and future effects of change on corporations and individuals.

Also speaking at the two-day event will be Tata Sons director R. Gopalakrishnan and former Morgan Stanley managing director Andy Xie, who is known for his contrarian and provocative views.

The series is organised by Taylor’s Centre for Continuing Professional Education (CPE) in collaboration with the London Speaker Bureau and Leaderonomics as media partner.
