Coral denies responsibility to project loss

PETALING JAYA: Coral Alliance Sdn Bhd, which was sub-contracted by Petra Energy Bhd for a job in the latter's Kumang Cluster project in Sarawak, has denied that it is responsible for losses linked to the project.

In a letter to The Star yesterday, Coral Alliance chief executive officer Wan Abdillah Wan Hamid said he was “shocked and disappointed” by the remarks that Petra Energy executive director and chief operating officer Ahmadi Yusoff had made at its AGM on Monday in relation to Coral Alliance and the Kumang Cluster Project.
