Metronic auditors’ qualified opinion


PETALING JAYA: Metronic Global Bhd's external auditors, Ernst & Young, have expressed a qualified opinion in their report on the company's audited financial statements for the financial year ended Dec 31, 2010.

In their report accompanying the announcement by Metronic yesterday, the auditors said Metronic had long outstanding receivables due from a related party and certain group of debtors with their carrying amount totalling RM46.6mil as at Dec 31, 2010, of which a total impairment amount of RM20.34mil had been made.
