Minimal impact on Penang electronics sector

GEORGE TOWN: The impact of the Japanese crisis on the electronics manufacturing sector in Penang has been minimal so far.

Pentamaster Corp Bhd executive chairman C.B. Chuah said the group sourced about 5% of its raw materials from Japan, such as electro-mechanical parts used in its semiconductor automated equipment.
