Bursa profit down on absence of capital gain


KUALA LUMPUR: Bursa Malaysia Bhd posted a 69% drop in net profit to RM29.8mil in its fourth quarter ended Dec 31, 2010 compared with RM96.3mil in the corresponding period a year earlier. Revenue stood at RM101.9mil versus RM157.4mil previously.

For the full financial year 2010 (FY10), Bursa net profit stood at RM113.4mil compared with RM177.6mil a year ago while revenue came in at RM361mil versus RM402mil previously.
