PETALING JAYA: JAKS Resources Bhd
is back in the black after posting a net profit RM1.19mil in the fourth quarter ended Oct 31, 2010 versus a net loss of RM3.13mil a year earlier due to recovery in selling prices of various steel related products and better margins.
The water-pipe maker told Bursa Malaysia yesterday that revenue for the period rose 38% to RM85.74mil from RM62.3mil a year ago on the back of higher revenue contributed by the steel and construction divisions.
