TOKYO: Japan's central bank is keeping its key interest rate unchanged at near zero amid a sluggish economic recovery.
The unanimous decision to keep the overnight call rate target at zero to 0.1 percent came Tuesday after a two-day meeting of the Bank of Japan's nine-member policy board.
