MediaBanc expands footprint


WITH a single leap last week, the country's leading media monitoring agency MediaBanc (M) Sdn Bhd saw its advertising library effectively grow from 600,000-plus ads to nearly 9 million ads.

The Multimedia Super Corridor-status company, which caters mainly to advertising agencies, has been building its database of advertisements for 13 years. With operations in Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, the Philippines, Thailand and Vietnam, MediaBanc monitors 50 radio stations, 80 TV stations, 300 newspapers, 1,300 magazines and 25,000 online news and blogs.
