Most Asian markets pare losses, but Seoul and Tokyo still in red

PETALING JAYA: Despite the rising political tension between the two Koreas, most major stock markets in the region, except for Japan and South Korea, managed to pare losses at mid-morning trade.

At 10.30am, the FBM KLCI rose 1.78 points to 1,489.31, after the sharp plunge of 15.7 points or 1% yesterday in response to the military exchange of fires between North Korea and South Korea.
