FBM KLCI closes lower


PETALING JAYA: The FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index (FBM KLCI) closed lower today by 13.89 points to 1,499.81 as investors were most likely to take profit following the recent bull-run. Lagging movers in FBM KLCI superseded the leading movers.

Heavyweights such as Genting lost 44 sen to RM10.16, CIMB was down 22 sen to RM8.30 and Gamuda also slid by 22 sen to RM3.46. Heavyweights leading movers were Maybank that added 10 sen to RM9.20, AMMB climbed 2 sen to RM6.19 and Hong Leong moved up by 13 sen to RM9.68.
