TAIPEI: Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co Ltd (TSMC), the world’s biggest contract chipmaker, saw sales growth slow in October, as widely expected, the latest Taiwanese tech firm to report a weaker month as demand wanes.
TSMC had unconsolidated sales of T$37.37bil (US$1.2bil) last month, 2% above September’s T$36.65bil. Sales rose 28% over the same month a year earlier, slower than the previous month’s 31% rise.
