PUTRAJAYA: The Customs Department says scrapping of import duty for tourist and local collectors’ items will not derail the department’s target of collecting RM28bil in tax this year.
Instead, the department was confident of the targeted amount, as the collection from January to Monday had reached RM22.41bil, said director-general Datuk Mohamed Khalid Yusuf.
