KUALA LUMPUR: Chief Secretary to the Government Tan Sri Mohd Sidek Hassan has called on nations to seek partnerships and consensus towards achieving a common purpose in a globalised world despite differences in opinions as well as cultural traditions.
“The severe reality is we can no longer operate on the premise of a Malaysian way of doing business (as) today’s dynamism demands a global value system, beyond the myopias of our own cultures and traditions,” he said at the 2010 Biennial Conference of the Commonwealth Association for Public Administration and Management (Capam) in Malta.
