MSWG: Pancaran Ikrab ex-MD’s sentence ‘too light’


PETALING JAYA: The sentence meted out by Kuala Lumpur Sessions Court judge S.M. Komathy Suppiah on Datuk Lybrand Ngu Tieng Ung, the ex-managing director of construction outfit Pancaran Ikrab Bhd, for committing two counts of financial fraud is too light, says Minority Shareholder Watchdog Group (MSWG) CEO Rita Benoy Bushon.

Ngu was sentenced to a day’s jail and RM2mil in fines, with RM1mil for each offence.
