PETALING JAYA: The global natural rubber (NR) prices including those of Malaysia’s tyre grade SMR 20 and latex-in-bulk, which are nearing new historical highs, may continue to be on the uptrend at least till year-end.
“In terms of factors determining prices, the current phase of the NR market could have no parallel in history,” said Association of Natural Rubber Producing Countries (ANRPC) senior economist Jom Jacob.
