SMEs urged to actively participate in NKEA sectors


KUALA LUMPUR: The Government has urged small and medium-scale enterprises (SMEs) to actively participate in the various 12 National Key Economic Area (NKEA) sectors that have been identified to drive the economic growth.

“I hope SMEs will take the opportunity to study, evaluate and actively participate in the 131 entry point projects (EPPs) worth RM124bil identified under the Economic Transformation Programme,” Domestic Trade, Cooperative and Consumerism Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob said at the National SME Economic Transformation Conference 2010 and SMI 1-Stop Solution Exhibition (SMIOSS) 2010.
